  1. Tuition fees are typically paid to secure a spot in the program, and they may cover administrative costs. In many cases, registration fees are not refunded, regardless of the reason for withdrawal.Tuition Refunds:

  2. A refund request must be submitted within 24 hrs. of the first missed class. Please notify us ASAP so we can allow other students to enroll.

  3. Tuition fees are paid for a specific term or session of the theatre program. The refund policy for tuition fees includes the following elements:

  4. Partial Refunds: If a student withdraws before the program begins within two weeks of start date.

  5. No Refunds After the Program Begins.

  6. Prorated Refunds: In some cases, a prorated refund may be offered if a student withdraws from the program after it has started, with the amount of the refund decreasing as the program progresses.

 

Documentation Requirements:

  1. Some programs may require documentation or a written notice of withdrawal when requesting a refund. This could include a withdrawal form or a letter explaining the reason for withdrawal.

 

Special Circumstances:

  1. We may consider refunds or credits in exceptional circumstances, such as a serious illness or family emergency. These cases are evaluated on an individual basis.

  2. Credits for Future Programs:

  3. Instead of providing cash refunds, some theatre programs may offer credits that can be applied to future programs within the same organization.

  4. Sibling Discounts: If there are multiple children from the same family enrolled, a promo code may be used at checkout to obtain 30% off the total cost of the order.

  5. Change of Program or Class: Some programs may allow for students to switch to a different class or program without incurring additional fees. 

  6. It's essential to thoroughly review the refund policy  before enrolling your child. If you have questions or concerns about the policy or need clarification, don't hesitate to contact the theatre organization directly for more information.

Tems & Conditons

These Terms and Conditions govern the participation of young performers and their guardians in the Young People's Performing Company (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"). Please read this document carefully and ensure that you understand and agree to its provisions before enrolling in the Company's programs.

  • Eligibility: 1.1. The Company is open to young people aged between 4 and 18 years old, hereinafter referred to as "Participants."

  • Enrollment: 2.1. Enrollment in the Company's programs is subject to availability and is granted on a first-come, first-served basis. 2.2. Participants and their guardians are required to complete and submit a registration form, including all necessary contact and medical information, to enroll in the Company.

  • Participation: 3.1. Participants are expected to attend all rehearsals, workshops, and performances as scheduled by the Company. 3.2. Participants must demonstrate a positive attitude, teamwork, and respect towards their fellow performers, instructors, and staff. 3.3. Any issues or concerns regarding participation should be communicated to the Company's staff promptly.

  • Fees: 4.1. Participants and their guardians are responsible for the payment of program fees, which will be outlined in the Company's fee structure. 4.2. Payments must be made according to the payment schedule specified by the Company.

  • Code of Conduct: 5.1. Participants are expected to adhere to a code of conduct that promotes a positive and inclusive environment. 5.2. Inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to bullying, harassment, or disruptive conduct, will not be tolerated and may result in the termination of participation.

  • Safety: 6.1. The Company will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of Participants. 6.2. Participants are expected to adhere to safety guidelines and instructions provided by the Company's staff.

  • Photography and Recordings: 7.1. The Company may take photographs, videos, or audio recordings during rehearsals and performances for promotional purposes. 7.2. By enrolling in the Company, Participants and their guardians grant the Company permission to use such media for promotional purposes.

  • Cancellations and Refunds: 8.1. The Company reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify programs or events as necessary. 8.2. Refund policies, including deadlines and criteria, will be provided by the Company and must be adhered to.

  • Communication: 9.1. The Company will primarily communicate with Participants and guardians via email or other specified means. 9.2. It is the responsibility of Participants and guardians to stay informed of updates, schedules, and important information provided by the Company.

  • Guardians' Responsibilities: 10.1. Guardians are responsible for providing transportation to and from rehearsals and performances. 10.2. Guardians must notify the Company of any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements of the child.

  • Termination of Participation: 11.1. The Company reserves the right to terminate a Participant's involvement for violations of these terms and conditions or for other reasons as deemed necessary by the Company.

  • Amendments: 12.1. The Company may amend these terms and conditions, and any changes will be communicated to Participants and their guardians.

 

Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in the termination of a Participant's involvement with the Company.

If you disagree with  Section 7, Photography and Recordings, please cut and paste this section into an email to Jessica @ info@yppc.us. Also, please review this policy with your child(ren) and initial below.

___________ I prefer my child not be included in photos for promotion use of the YPPC Program. My child knows there may be times when pictures are taken and  understands they may need to step aside for a moment for the photo to be taken.
