Apprentices - Audition Techniques & Monologues with Showcase

8th-12th Grades

We will cover resumes, headshots, cold reading, monologues, everything for confident auditioning

Saturday, May 30, 3pm (performers arrive at 2:00pm, tech arrives at 1:30)

Advanced Improv & Sketch Comedy - INVITATION ONLY

8th-12th Grades

April 13-May 10 (4 wks)

Students will learn all the "games" for sketch comedy and how to be a team. They will learn to promote and run their own show. They could take this skill to college, city, etc improv groups, or even create their own team with friends whenever.

We will dive into characters and scene study as well as learn basic stage dance techniques. (Students can participate in the class even if they cannot attend the Showcase)

Students will explore the world of On-Camera Acting. Final projects will be recorded and screened at the end of year Showcase. (Students do not have at attend the Showcase to participate in the class.)
