Scholarships

YPPC understands the importance of nurturing young talents and providing equal opportunities for every child to explore their passion for the performing arts. Our scholarship program is designed to support families who may face financial barriers in enrolling their children in theater classes.

Why Theater Matters for Your Child:

Theater is not just about the spotlight; it's a transformative experience that helps children develop essential life skills. From building confidence and enhancing creativity to fostering teamwork and effective communication, the benefits of theater education are immeasurable.

YPPC is financially committed to helping families in the community by providing scholarships. Scholarships are offered for 25%, 50%, or 75% of tuition costs for Classes and Camps. Families can apply for scholarship assistance by following the directions below.

We are pleased to offer scholarships to deserving individuals and families. There are two types of scholarships available:

1.  Financial Need. To ensure that these scholarships reach those who need them most, we have established an income threshold. Families with an annual income of less than $50,000 are eligible to apply for the Fiinancial Need Scholarship. We operate on the honor system and trust that applicants will provide accurate information in accordance with our guidelines. This allows us to direct our resources to those in genuine need. Thank you for your honesty and adherence to these guidelines.

2.  Parent Volunteer. We are proud to support and recognize the value of parent involvement in our community. As part of our commitment to fostering a collaborative educational environment, we offer scholarships to families with a parent who is willing to volunteer their time. We kindly request that the participating parent be available to assist with various activities, such as parent involvement events, class assistance, running lights, and helping with the creation of programs, among other opportunities. Your active participation not only enriches the learning experience for your child but also contributes to the overall success of our community. We appreciate your dedication to creating a supportive educational environment for all students.
